Ministry Vision
The Village Chapel was started out of the Calvary Chapel movement where the Word of God is taught verse by verse, chapter by chapter. We base everything we do on God’s infallible Word. Our vision is to see our people take the Word of God that is taught to them and live that out on a daily basis. Our Mission is living the Word through Teaching Truth, Walking in Grace, and Relying on the Holy Spirit.
We do this through five Core Values:
- Teach the Word: We are passionate about studying God’s Word verse by verse, chapter by chapter.
- Prayer: We are committed to seeking God’s face through consistent times of prayer.
- Outreach: We desire to reach the lost and hurting of Lompoc Valley with the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
- Relationships: We encourage our people to “do life together” by being a part of a small group.
- Service: We challenge each Christian to use their God-given gifts by serving in the local church.
